Rio Ferdinand is not happy towards the decision refree Micheal Oliver made over Gabriel Martinelli after giving the arsenal striker his marching orders in an encounter with wolves.
Rio Ferdinand, a former Manchester United defender, has lambasted referee Michael Oliver for issuing two rapid yellow cards to Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli.
Martinelli was dismissed in the 70th minute of Arsenal’s 1-0 victory over Wolves on Thursday.

After incurring two consecutive fouls, the Brazil forward was given his marching orders.
Martinelli knocked Chiquinho over after attempting to prevent Wolves from obtaining a fast throw in.
Ferdinand, on the other hand, claims Oliver “wants to be in the press” and calls his decision “harsh.”
“He wants to be in the press, doesn’t he, the ref?” he remarked. So abrasive. The first is a yellow, if you will.
“But the second one, especially in the same phase or sequence, I just don’t feel it warrants another yellow card. No chance”
