Chelsea acquiring Wesley Fofana is a real possibility right now.
The defender for Leicester City reportedly told his team on Friday that he was anxious to move to Stamford Bridge, according to 90min.
According to reports, the Foxes have previously turned down two bids from Chelsea.
Fabrizio Romano noted this morning, however, that the Blues have reportedly made a new offer of £70 million to recruit the 21-year-old defender.
Here is Gary Neville’s response to Romano’s assertion on Twitter:
Fofana has also been associated with Manchester City, although it must be mentioned that the French powerhouse appears destined for Chelsea.

So long as Leicester accepts the upgraded offer, that is.
However, in all likelihood, they will.
In all likelihood, they won’t receive a higher offer for Fofana this summer, and given that the former Saint-Etienne prospect has already sustained some serious injuries in England, they could decide to sell the big man.
With Kalidou Koulibaly and Marc Cucurella, the West Londoners have already spent around to £100 million on defenders this summer.
But since Thiago Silva will turn 38 in one month, it makes sense for Chelsea to seek a long-term successor now rather than in the summer.
